I've been
saying for a while (pretty much all year, really) that I want to read more YA
fiction. In pursuit of that aim, I've found a list, which is a pretty great
list to be honest. The original list (with pretty pictures and things) can be
found here, but I'm going to reproduce it
here with annotations of what I've read, got, and plan to read. This post will
probably be really boring to everybody who isn't me. You have been warned.
Titles in
bold are ones I own, struckthrough means I've read it.

So since I have quite a few of these already I'm going to try to read my way through the list. This isn't something I'm putting a time limit on, but there's quite a lot on it that I want to read so hopefully I'll get through it in less than five years! :-p
Just wanted to say I just found your site through a link i saw on someone's TT site. I really love it. We seem to have very similar taste in books. :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! New follower...
Ohhh, The Outsiders. That book WAS my teenage years - and the movie too. I can't hear 'Stay Gold' now without getting a little chill up my spine. Time for a reread (and rewatch) soon I think, I have shiny new copies of the book AND movie awaiting me on my shelves. Must reread The Hobbit in 2013 too. SO MANY BOOKS! :D
ReplyDelete*subliminal message* Read The Hobbit Ellie!
DeleteI like this list too, although I'm not convinced that some of them are YA. To be fair though, I think that everytime I see The Book Thief on one of these! And DEFINITELY not Flowers for Algernon!
ReplyDeleteI've read 29 so far, although I own a lot more. On the bright side, a fair few of them are on my mental must read in 2013 list!
