I'm following that one up with House Made of Dawn by N. Scott Momaday. The first won the Pulitzer in 1930, written by an anthropologist who observed the Navajo and other tribes and the second won the Pulitzer in 1969, written by a Native American. Should be interesting to compare and contrast the two. And The Round House! Such a great book! I read and reviewed it last year. So powerful! And I love Erdrich's writing. I love the cover image you included. I had several in my review, but not that one! Nice review! I am having so much fun with this! :) I did add the review links that were on your blog but not on mine to mine. I also am posting each on Twitter #littlehouseRAL. Onward to March! Pa wanted to do what he wanted and be left alone, too, by Indians and the U.S. government. Too bad more people didn't just think like that.Ruth @ with freedom and bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15531827758868215023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3246380981479604275.post-43317450876612720852016-02-26T18:19:02.699+00:002016-02-26T18:19:02.699+00:00I read a book by Amy Belding Brown recently which ...I read a book by Amy Belding Brown recently which explores an aspect of the Native American culture in the 1600s.
